Glasshoughton welcomed Ebony Jordan on Sunday night, she is a lady I have known for a few years now and I like her singing now as much as I did then. Ebony was dressed in a long black and white evening dress adorned with a silver belt and some Bling about her person.
She has a good range, a controlled vibrato and light and shade in her lovely voice. Her sound system is very good and is controlled by her dad. From her vast repertoire she sang the songs of Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, (Why Do Fools Fall In Love), Connie Francis, (Stupid Cupid and Lipstick On Your Collar) as well as songs from the Carpenters, Luther Van Dross, Boyzone and Jane McDonald; in fact her version of ’The Hand That Leads Me’ was excellently sung. An excellent show from Ebony Jordan...
