Don Allen and Darren Anthony - <<<< Clear Cut Duo...
Another successful night at Gilly’s CMC in the City Club; The
artiste on stage was father and son duo, Clear Cut. A very entertaining first set with the songs of Bobby Darin, (18 Yellow Roses), Bob Wills, (My House Honey), Steve Earls (Galway Girl) and Eddie Calvert’s I’l Silencio. Good harmonies and some great instrumentals.
Don’s son, Darren, is going on a sponsored Bike ride with some
of his friends in aid of The Marie Curie NACC, Cancer research, to date the guys have raised £18,000. I’m sure everyone wishes them all the very best. The ride is from Lands End to John o’ Groats, a distance of around 960 miles.
