Full Fat Funk In Bramley Band Club…
A good name for a good duo; Kerry and Jason are Full Fat Funk but there’s nothing fat about them. The music and the singing voices are just brilliant; the sound equipment, the lights and the harmonies are superb. Kerry was dressed in a nice shortish red dress in the first part of the set, she went off stage and changed into a lovey black sequined dress; and of course I 'LTS', Jason wore a pair of dark trousers, a cream ribbed shirt and a waistcoat. They sang a varied set of songs of which some were, ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, ‘The Flood’, a fantastic Paul McCartney song, ‘Live And Let Die’ in which Kerry played the flute. If it hadn't been for my pal, Lee Lambert I would have been struggling with the titles of some of the modern songs; I did know the Lady Gaga song, 'I Was Born That Way'. Another impressive song from Jason this time was ‘Baker Street’. He makes the saxophone just about talk. Another of their impressive songs was Lady Gaga’s,’I Was Bor That Way. I could go on praising this duo but go and see them yourself; they are GOOD….
