The Rock and Roll Extravaganza starred Billy Dean and Dean Holloway. For those who don’t know Dean is Billy’s son. It was a busy night; the club was full to near capacity.
Dean Holloway opened the first part of the show sing many notable 50’s and 60’s rock and roll hit. Dean sang songs by Eddie Cochrane, Chuck Berry, Matchbox and Elvis to mention a few.
After the break Billy Dean took to the stage and showed his versatility by singing songs from artistes of the same era, such as Teenager in Love Bad Boy Three Steps to Heaven and many more.
After the break Billy Dean returned to the stage and sang some more songs and then started to introduce a variety of guest singers. This is what was said by Billy and Dean
“Thanks for the guest singers too, Tony O'Sullivan, Dean Holland, Cliff Fowler and not forgetting Andy Wood and Kat, Lisa Matthews and Chris Connor for making the journey over and for Chris's mind blowing performance, seeing really is believing!”
One member of the club said it was the best night he had ever in the club.
