It's Country Music Night In Westgate Common,
On stage it's the Whiskey Duo; in the duo is a lady I have known for many years, Kathy Parr, a lovely lady with her partner John. Two guitars provide the backing music with drums and bass on tracks, nevertheless a good sound, they opened the set I heard with, 'It's Five O'clock Somewhere'. Nice harmonies and some line dancers on the floor. I don't know all the songs but what I did hear were very good. One was 'Whiskey and Horses', and another a Josh Turner song called, 'Was She Worth It,' one called 'I Wanna Get Closer', Whiskey is a very good duo, go and see them when they're in your area.
Kathy was a very respected solo singer on the clubs circuit, I would often travel miles to listen to her lovely voice and was never disappointed and I certainly wasn't disappointed tonight with; WHISKE
