Hey, it's one of club lands best tonight, Jon Dean is his name. He was appearing here at the Nash; I have lots of respect for this man, I used to see his shows in
Benidorm a few years ago, it's around 4 years since I was last there; I leave the foreign holidays to Pat these days. Anyway, back to Jon, he always looks great on stage, good sound equipment and he has a super voice. He opened his show with, 'The Living Years', a Mike And The Mechanics hit, Jon showed his versatility when he sang a song about Janis Joplin 'The Rose', without the microphone, well the first part anyway. There were songs from Ole Blue Eyes, (Mine Are Brown by the way)' 'That's Life'. There was a Garth Brooks song, 'When You Come Back To Me Again'. What a lovely song, One from the King, 'Suspicious Minds', ending his first set with Brendan Shine's, 'My Son'. A superb entertaining set from the one and only, Jon Dean. Thank you Jon.
