Crofton WMC was full tonight when we arrived at 8-30pm. The band, Big Time Charlie, is made up of Martin Ramsden, lead vocals, keyboards and guitar,, Simon Hant on drums, Kevin is on lead guitar and on bass it's er,mm another Kevin. The lights and PA are good; BTC opened with, 'Dancing On The Ceiling', a Lionel Richie song, 'How Long Has This Been Going On', an 'Ace song. ‘Forget You’,Celo Green, 'All My Life', Kings Of Leon's, 'Use Somebody', the Killers and (Guess what), yes it's 'Human', the final song was Queen's, 'Don't Stop Me Now',A terrific sound from the guys, "Big Time Charlie".

Spirit of Smokie.
Dean, Andy and Graham, who are the Spirit Of Smokie appeared at The Lupset on tonight; there was a good crowd there, most were the crowd that finished their nights off in, The Lupset’. Smokie was the band entertaining us tonight, they were in fine form, good sound, voices and harmonies. Pat and I were late getting there but we did hear part of the set, songs included. 'Needles And Pins', ' Mexican Girl', Living Next Door To Alice', (the clean version) and finished their show with a song called, 'Jet Lag'. A super show from The Spirit Of Smokie...
Next Saturday at the Lupset it’s, The Booze Brothers... See you there?
