Hayley ‘J’ Sings At Alverthorpe WMC.
The Friday shows at Alverthorpe continued with multi award winning female vocalist, Hayley J. I just wish there were more people there, they missed a first class show; Hayley looked fabulous on stage in a long red cocktail gown; (‘LTS)and has a terrific voice; had just started her first set when I arrived and she was singing, ‘Man I feel Like A Woman. Hayley was in fine voice; she carries a good PA system and knows how to get the best sound from it. More of her songs in a great play list were Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Lost In France’ , Amy Winehouse’s version of, ‘Valerie’, Shirley Bassey’s, ‘I Who Have Nothing’, Doris Day’s ‘Perhaps - Perhaps – Perhaps and one for Mr T, ‘The Hand That Leads Me’. One thing that really stood out for me was Hayley’s stage presence and when she finished her set with ’For One Night Only’, the gracious way she left the stage; I thoroughly enjoyed the performance of Miss Hayley ‘J’.
