Glasshoughton WMC presents. Jonny F.
Unfortunately the advertised act is unable to appear, I know there is a genuine reason for this. In his place is a singer who is popular on the club circuit, Jonny F. He was smart in a suit and shirt, like the shoes, he opened with 'Summer Of 69', Jonny's voice is good too. The second song was a James Brown song, 'I Feel Good', there was an Amy Winehouse song, 'Valerie'. Jonny is also half of a duo called, Nite Shift, he has plenty of eras in music to offer, 60's 70's, and 80's. So, plenty for the dancers. 'Sway', was one from the 50's. Lots more from Jonny, his backing tracks are good quality too. I liked his version of the Maroon Five's, 'Moves Like Jagger',
Jonny sure is very different. The next song was new to me,(I'm getting old), 'My Sharona', one by a band called, 'The Knack'. Michael Jackson was featured. The last song in the set was, 'Chasing Cars', by Snow Patrol.
